I Won’t Quit

I won’t quit, and you won’t mind!

Not every war is mine,

not all those sufferings are mine;

Yes I know;

A rebel doesn’t quit,

not even the one to take over,

but to fight against the odds beneath all;

Loneliness comes with a price-

a little freedom and a huge compromise;

Life teaches us to prolong death,

it makes us suffer a bit more underneath;

So I must be rebellious

to challenge the pain and more

for grabbing what are meant to be mine;

Yes you know;

I do appear to live only

to fight the war which is only mine;

Thus I will live, and you will see!
